As director of human resources, Sharon and her team support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital. She provides leadership and sets organizational strategy within the areas of training and development, talent and performance management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, compliance and employment law, and safety and wellness.

Sharon grew up in the Grand Forks, North Dakota, area but has called Fargo home for more than 20 years. She has a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of North Dakota and moved into the non-profit sector in 2007 after working in human resources executive roles in retail.

Knowing that someone was able to celebrate a success because I helped mentor a skill, recognized their potential, coached them, or simply listened when they needed it is the most rewarding moment I can imagine."
