She has more than ten years of experience in development and previously taught philosophy, humanities, and history courses at a variety of colleges and universities in Minnesota, South Dakota, North Dakota, and Iowa. Lisa enjoys running, yoga, and making new recipes. She and her husband, Bob, have three adult children, Paul, Maret, and Ingrid.
"In addition to teaching college students for more than a dozen years, I'm also a first-generation college graduate. I have a deep appreciation and understanding of the value of a college education, especially at a land-grant university. I find great satisfaction in facilitating private support to NDSU from alumni and other stakeholders, and I appreciate that this support allows the university to deliver on its mission of educating students, preparing them for fulfilling lives, and impacting the region and the world. I relish supporting development staff in their work, as well."
