The event will feature a medallion ceremony honoring the Institute’s endowed faculty positions — Endowed Chair and Director for the Peltier Institute Dr. Rex Sun and Endowed Professor of Practice for the Peltier Institute Matt Olhoft — plus recognition of Peltier Scholars and a celebration of the Peltier family’s transformative investment in NDSU.

Endowed faculty and student scholars strengthen NDSU’s land-grant mission — advancing teaching, research, and outreach in service to North Dakota and beyond. The Peltier Institute will be a hub for agricultural innovation, fueled by the partnership of NDSU, the NDSU College of Agriculture, Food Systems and Natural Resources, and the NDSU College of Engineering.
