Dr. Kwangsoo Park, associate professor in the College of Human Sciences and Education, has been appointed to the newly-established Anne Stegner Endowed Professorship and first endowed professorship in the College of Human Sciences and Education. Benefactors gift more than $1.3 million on NDSU’s fifth annual Giving Day

NDSU’s fifth annual Giving Day raised more than $1,346,000. This is the first time the total has surpassed a million dollars in the history of the event. The online, grassroots fundraising campaign also secured a record number of gifts: more than 1,700. In 2019, benefactors gifted just over $939,000 and recorded about 1,300 gifts.

This November, the Sheila and Robert Challey Institute for Global Innovation and Growth at North Dakota State University will bring to campus major thought leader Arthur C. Brooks, to help launch the Menard Family Distinguished Speakers Series. Brooks, professor of practice and public leadership at the Harvard Kennedy School and Arthur C. Patterson faculty fellow at the Harvard Business School, will address students virtually.
