Samantha, a senior development coordinator, provides direct support to directors of development. Some of her responsibilities include portfolio management, research, data entry, developing reports, supporting capital projects, coordinating stewardship gifts, and more.

Samantha grew up in Alexandria, Minnesota, with a family who was passionate about spending time on the lakes, camping, and playing as many sports as possible. She credits her mother and late father for her love of nature, animals, human connection, and the importance of a well-timed joke.

"My eclectic career history in massage therapy, personal care assistance, and office management has helped me learn the importance of a good cup of coffee as well as how important it is to treat others with respect and compassion. I have a newfound appreciation for philanthropy and everything that happens behind the scenes to make a difference. I feel lucky to be a part of a team that believes in connecting with those who are passionate about supporting our student-focused, land-grant, research university."
