NDSU Foundation Team Member since 2017

As associate director of events and programs, Emily plans and executes events designed to cultivate, recognize, educate, and steward NDSU alumni, supporters, and friends. She particularly enjoys bringing innovation, storytelling, and emotion to the events she plans.

Emily is a proud Bison Pineapple, having majored in hospitality and tourism at NDSU. She is outgoing, passionate, and works to bring enthusiasm and fun to her job and life. When she's not working on bringing the next event to alumni and friends of NDSU, Emily enjoys spending time with family, including her husband, Alex, daughter, Ruby, and son, Hank. She's also a proud animal mom to her "majestic" dog, Rusty, and "unfriendly" cat, Edward.

"Every day I am inspired by the impactful stories from NDSU students, faculty, staff, alumni, supporters, and friends. Hearing their stories has in turn motivated me to make a difference for NDSU and our community. My hope is that the events I'm planning spread the good word of NDSU and inspire others to feel connected, and in return, consider making a gift NDSU."
